Jeff Dufour is a leader for the people – not the insiders or the special interest groups. Having lived in the region for more than 35 years, he truly cares about the direction of our district and state. This is not a stepping stone for higher office. It is about being your voice at the State House.
Jeff grew up in a paper mill town in Maine where his mother was a school teacher and his father was the grounds superintendent at the local university. He was raised to work hard, respect others and appreciate the value of community. Jeff is the third generation of his family to give back through public service.
Jeff earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maine. Since arriving in Massachusetts, he has earned education certificates for project management and financial planning from Merrimack College and is a Certified Financial Planner.
Jeff has worked for the past 36 years as an Information Systems and Project Management professional including holding positions at several fortune 500 companies. He has over 25 years of corporate management experience primarily in the insurance, financial services, and employee benefits industries. Presently, Jeff is employed as an Information Systems Project Manager
Jeff and his wife Marie have lived in Tewksbury for the past 24 years. He has been an active volunteer including: Volunteer Search and Rescue, Youth Swim Team Coach, and a fundraiser for the Red Sox Foundation. Jeff has run the Boston Marathon 5 consecutive times for a Massachusetts charity.
